The other evening I spent a very enjoyable evening looking through the hundreds of books published via Blurb. There are some staggeringly beautiful creations and I plan to make a cookery book of the popular cakes, sold at the allotment cafe this year, using blurb. Amongst the photography books I found the stunning work of James Hughes. I will be buying my own copy to keep by my bedside enjoying the faded glory captured in these wonderful images.

  1. The bed is a fairy tale image for "The Princess and the Pea". The photos are beautiful.

  2. Hi Sarah - hope you can remember who I am! (I prefer being relatively anonymous when I post - your clue is I'm friends with both Kristina and Jane W, whose house we had dinner in!) I was told about Blurb by someone, and think the production values are wonderful. What a fabulous idea for a book - can I pre-order a copy now??

  3. Hello Sarah, and thank you so much for your lovely comment, I really loved reading it, especially this morning it just warmed me up enough to face going out ha ha.
I will look at blurb because your images are stunning and just what I like..reckon we have similar tastes.
